A. Teeth Whitening:

Whitening of teeth make a person more attractive and younger. It is done by making a special type of tray by taking the measurement of teeth. This special tray is filled with whitening gel and applied on teeth for few hours in 5/ 6 sittings. Another system is a light-activated whitening system in which gel directly applied on tooth surface which is exposed to the special type of light for lightening the shade of tooth.

B. Laminates/ Veneers:

Very popular among the models, tv, filmstars. It is thin facing of composite resin or porcelain metal which is bonded to the visible surface of tooth. It improves colour, size and shape of the tooth. Discoloured tooth is permanently whitened with veneers.Poecelain veneers are very strong, attractive and durable. This is the treatment mainly for improving the appearace.

C. Tooth Colored Fillings(Light Cure):

Previously when the tooth used to decay, it was filled with Amalgum(Blakish silver coloured material), which was unaesthetic and ugly. Now the decayed or cavitated tooth is filled with white coloured i.e. tooth coloured material. It has many advantages such as it requires very less i.e. conservative tooth preparation. It is mercury free. It has better marginal integrity and durability. These materials are special types of composite resins which are cured with help of lights in the tooth cavity.

D. Malaligned and Crowded Teeth:

When teeth are overlapped, protruded, retruded, crooked, malaligned or crowded, it looks very bad as it affects the personality of an individual.It can be corrected by many ways such as veneers, crowns, bridges etc.
